The film starts off with George Jung (Johnny Depp) as a young boy with his father. Then the story takes you through his life and everything he's been through. His father goes bankrupt and they lose everything but he still tries to teach George that money isn't important. Eventually George moves to California with his friend and he meets drug connects. He sarts buying and selling weed in mass amounts, making lots of money. Things only go well for so long though, this movie is based on George Jungs life and whats he's been through. I think it's a great movie and had a lot of good aspects about it. He's a G drug kingpin

The Pursuit of Happiness is based on a true story of Chris Gardner's period of life struggles. After a failed investment in selling bone scanners, which dug a big whole in the family financially, Chris's wife, Linda, leaves him and moves to New York. Chris is left with his son and no "real" job. While trying to sell his scanner downtown, he runs into a manager for Dean Witter(Jay Twistle). Desperate to get a job, Chris impresses Mr. Twistle by solving a rubiks cube. Chris gets the chance to be an intern stockbroker. Everything seems fine until the rest of his money is taken by the IRS. This causes Chris and his son to be evicted, forcing them to sleep at shelters and a bathroom at a subway station. Will he get the job??

I think they did a perfect job on the film. they showed stressful situations that were REAL and REALISTIC. It shows that if you really try and have hope, you can make it. This movie is realistic because it shows struggles related to most of americans today, jobless and homelessness.

"The Blind Side" really did capture the life of Micheal Oher . I like how the Director made the feeling realistic . You wish to keep rooting for Micheal and share his stuggle as he trys to keep his real mom and his old mom . You feel all his emotions , and the others as well . There was no over-dramatic twist that other Biopics trys to put in : you can really tell that the screen writer really had to work on this and to expose the truth . The actors really showed how they tried to support one of another as a family and you can see the chemistry . The scenery and sets up really made you fell Micheals transformation . From low proverty apartments to high up-scale mansions . This movie will really touch your heart .

He finds out where Lisa lives, but it is another girl who claims her name is also Lisa. After multiple times of failed searches and flashbacks, Matthew starts to doubt himself about Lisa.. but never stopped looking her. This movie is filled with drama and mysteries.

What made the romance in Wicker Park real was that Matt never gave up looking for Lisa and that he went for what he really wanted. The director, Paul McGuigan , shows how happy and natural Matt and Lisa were together in the short flashbacks Matt has throughout the movie. I also thought it was realistic how Matthew only had short, certain flashbacks. This was understadable since him and Lisa loved eachother 2 years ago.

The plot about the is true love. Where Adam Sandler falls in love with Drew barrymore who works at a waffle shop in a little tropical island with her friends and family all working their to. So Adam takes this girl on a date. 50 first dates to be correct, and her dad and her brother try so hard to stop it but they cant. So in the end he either finds true love and gets the girl or doesnt.

The possibility for their romance was that Sandler kept trying and didnt give up and he then finally showed her dad and brother that he was the one for her. These two people are trying to show that true love is anywhere if you just work for it. It was a great movie and a good story plot.

Even Though we live in a world where distance makes love fade no matter how far away John went Savannah and his love stayed strong. From the first time they met at the beach to all the places he traveled while serving the country. What made the love connection between these two so strong was the fact they were total opposites. He was more of a rebel and she was more of a good girl and the two of them together made a amazingly beautiful connection.

In "How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days" I like how the movie captured how easily a relationship can start even with both partners having different intentions . for instance Benjamin Berry Tried everything to be as smooth as possible and put up with things a "ladies man" like himself would never tolerate . Then Andie Anderson Tried to act like she was the perfect girl and do everything right , then later mess everything up and become to "emotional and clingy" . Through out the 10 days of their scheming and games they couldn't but help fall in love with the game .

Both are sharing an apartment together and are in need of the normal necessities like water, heat, and electricity, but they are both at dead end jobs and need to come up with money fast. Zack being the stereotypical horny vulgarer man that he is decides that they should make a porno. While they explore the movie world in an attempt to save they're apartment they also find themselves exploring new or maybe even secretive feelings for each other.

This is a great movie to me because i can some what relate. Me and my girlfriend were just regular friends for some years until i really realized that i liked her. Im sure many people will watch this movie and be able to relate. Its a comedy but at the same time serious. I wouldn't neccesarly say its a family movie but i would say overall it is a wholesome movie for a mature audience. A movie that you can watch ans say wow i know people like this.

This film kicks off with an anxious feel, Garner leaping in the shadows to attack with barely a sound. It's dark and gloomy, and at times, slow. I was sometimes left guessing at how she noticed the things that made me jump. The targets she's assigned with may be the greatest part of the movie; they seem so innocent at first, but there's a whole other story that Elektra doesn't know. Garner plays the perfect role of a femme fatale in Elektra's signature red, tight-fitting costume and offensive knives. She also did well with Elektra's OCD side, the surpressed quirks that make her lovable and deadly all at once.

A serial killer targets victims of seven deadly sins and kills them in the way they sin.

I really enjoyed this movie. It kept me guessing for sure. It's one of those movies you have to finish. Even though the next murders were obvious because of the sins, the end had a big twist. It was a very eerie movie and it fit nicely to the plot.

Saving Private Ryan is about a military division trying to find a private in the crazy environment of Europe during World War 2. After their landing and taking of Normandy Beach, France, they are put on a mission to find the last soldier of the Ryan family. Both of his brothers died in combat and it was their mission to find and get him home alive. Fighting through many German forces, lead by Captain Miller and 6 men from his 101st division.

I like this movie. I think it's a great example of the struggle for life and the loyalty of the U.S. Army to obey any orders they are given, even if it could mean death for them and everybody they're with. It fits the components of a western in every way. There are plenty of landscape shots of the soldiers walking to their destination. The outlaws are the Nazis and the enforcers are the U.S. troops over there. The whole story is a journey, those 7 men travel all around Europe to find Private James Francis Ryan. They're chasing after him the whole movie and at the end, they have to make a stand which turns out to be fatal most of the unit, including Captain Miller.

I liked this movie it was really good the action in it was good and it makes you wanna start racing at least for me it did, the actors were a really good choice for this movie i feel like everybody fit there pat really well.

Halloween is like a western in many ways even though it is a horror film. In Halloween that was made in 1978 there was an outlaw, a law enforcer, journey story, and also had characters chasing each other. These are all things that a movie needs to be a western. Halloween was a great movie, i especially like the 1978 version because it is the original movie and in my opinion the best one.

Michael Myers is the main character of Halloween he is also the outlaw. Michael is a psychotic man who escapes from the mental institute and tries to kill everyone in Haddenfield. Michael chases the young babysitter Laurie who lives in his old house. Michael wants to seek revenge on the people in Haddenfield. Dr.Loomis plays the doctor who evaluates Michael Myers and the only person who knows him personally and who can some what control Michael. Dr. Loomis along with the police of Haddenfield have to hunt down Michael and kill him so that he can't continue his murder spree.

Peter Pan is considered a western movie because it contains the outlaw: Peter, the villan: Hook, the vast landscape: Neverland, the journey: a flying adventure, and of course the chase. I really loved this movie as a child and i still love it because it reminds me of an innocent time in childhood when the world is within your grasp. The idea of this land where you can fly and explore to your hearts desire hits a spot in my inner child's heart.

My opinion about the movie is I like it a lot, it had a lot of meaning, dont just judge people by what they are, see how they are first then judge them. It fits the component of a war movie because they have a ongoing war with the warriors and samurais.

In the movie the son of a virtual world designer goes looking for his father and ends up inside the digital world that his father designed. He meets his fathers creation turned bad and a unique ally who was born inside the digital domain of the grid. When sam (Garret Hedlund) was little his father first started to create the grid. He always wanted to go in and see it but his father never let him. Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) owned a game arcade, everybody knew about it everyone went there, and the most played game there was TRON LEGACY located in the back of the arcade. Years went past and he ended up shutting it down for good, one day he dropped sam off at his grandparents home and told his he will be back, he never did. More years went past and sam grew older, got his own house, his own car, everything he needed to survive. One day one of (Jeff bridges) Kevin flynn's work partners showed up to sam's house and gave him a key. Sam took it and went down to the old arcade and looked at the TRON LEGACY game. It had scrtach marks on the floor in a round motion like it had been moved. Sam push it in the motion the scratches were in. Sam soon found out it was a hiden room back behind the game. Sam didnt relize that it was a gateway to the grid until he looked at the actual written grid. He did some messing with some buttons and papers and stuff and got transported into the grid, and thats where the story begines...

My opinion on the movie is that it was good. like it had a great beginning middle and end to it. the story line was phonominal the acting was fantastic everything was perfect. The camparison between this movie and a war movie is that they both fight to win for something just like a real war they all wear uniforms to show who they are fighting for.

I chose this movie because it's a western that fits the means of a western film. There's landscape, outlaws, law enforcers, chasing, and escaping. In the movie the landscape would be basically where the movie took place which is Santa Fe, New Mexico; thats landscape because there was plenty of land. The outlaws would of been for example McGrath and the soldiers he had working for him, they were the bad guys. A law enforcer from this film would be Captain West because throughout the whole movie he was trying to stop the bad guys. The escaping/chasing would be when Captain West had been chasing to capture McGrath and McGrath escaped because the prostitute stopped West from breaking in which allowed him to get away.

I thought the movie was very supspenceful, had the western theme, funny and had lots of action to it. Being that it had all of those characteristics I enjoyed he movie and thought it was good. I considered the movie as a western because it defined the meaning of a western. Overall I do think the movie could've had more outlaws and enforcers in it.

My opion about this movie is it brings the real life effect about war and how many things in this movie probably happen on the daily and i liked that it did that. its like a western because they pretty much fight all over the place and they are also chasing away the outlaws and they are also getting chased at the same time.

This has to do with our movie genre because it is a story of a person or group going through struggles. They all face a problem that they have to find a way to conquer and make it through it. They all run in to a time where they think that it could be over. That its just such a mess but they all move on and make as much of it as they can.

This movie preaches the old "pay attention to your kids" lesson with a story that includes the grown-ups being wrong. It's made clear that the parents don't pay a lot of attention to their kids when they bring strange rocks and stuffed bunnies home, claiming they can hear voices. The story quickly transitions into a parent-child war in which Emma (Wryn) and her brother Noah are left with the last key to saving the human race.

The first scene of the movie includes a series of extreme-long shots at a beach by the family's cabin. Later on, Emma discovers her new-found bunny, Mimzy, can speak and make her do things. As soon as she and Noah, who has also acquired a few supernatural talents, are discovered by their parents, they're carried off to a top-secret science lab. The kids sneak out of the cells they were placed in and steal a truck, headed for the source of the problem they need to solve. They're picked up by a supportive science teacher who ends up defending them when the "magic" is at its most powerful. At the end there's a feeling of relief when their task to save artificial life is completed, guaranteeing a safe future.

Full Metal Jacket starts out with Marine Corps boot camp and we start following two Private's lives. Private Joker, Matthew Modine, narrates his life with the marines where he first met a struggling simpleton named Private Pyle, Vincent D'Onofrio, when he became squad leader. Private Pyle couldn't do anything right and Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, R. Lee Emery, refused to ease up on the boy, sending the Private Joker over to give him some individualized training, where they soon learned that he had a natural gift for shooting on target and taking care of his equipment. On the last night before basic training graduation Private Pyle finally cracked under all of the pressure everyone's been giving him clouded with misinterpreted phrases and commands given to him by his drill sergeant and he shot Hartman before putting his M14 up to his own face and pulling the trigger. Private Joker continued on with graduation and was sent to the journalism department where he would record the experiences and events of the Vietnam War through the eyes of the American soldiers. While reuniting with one of his old boot camp friends, Private Joker finds himself in the middle of a risky situation with a lone Vietnamese sniper tactfully placed and his friend's crewmen going in one at a time to their inevitable death.

What made this movie so amazing was how realistic it was, for instance the boot camp section was emotionally intense and helped give the viewer an idea as to what it was like to enlist in the military during the war. I also like how they showed that some people can't handle the pressure and eventually lose control like Private Pyle. One thing I didn't like however was that the platoon, more specifically the squad, ended up prevailing in the end but I suppose we can win some battles even though in the end we lost the war. This movie uses ideas such as tracking shots during the scenes where squads move position or if they're infiltrating a base, like a Western chase scene when an outlaw is trying to fight the law. At one point the camera angle did switch to a worm's eye view to represent the authority the drill sergeant had over Private Joker after Joker made a sass remark about the Sergeant's mother. The only other aspects in this movie that are similar to a Western are the wide landscapes and the overwhelming pressure to demonstrate patriotism and have the law always win. Very good movie and I think it falls under one of the best war movies out there only because I take a true appreciation in the psychological aspect where as the story itself is lacking in some ways from a completely linear start to end.

Captain Willard (played by Charlie Sheen's father, Martin) already seems highly affected by the terrors of the Vietnam War before he's sent out on a mission to kill the rogue traitor Colonel Kurtz, creepily portrayed by Marlon Brandon, who is most famous for being the Don Corleone in The Godfather. Along the way we see some very surreal and strange images of the East-Asian landscape, including a very memorable appearance by Robert Duvall as a maniac lieutenant who loves surfing and "the smell of napalm in the morning." Though some parts of the film are funny, the platoon suffers many attacks and psychological traumas throughout, and we get to see the true horrors of forcing men on a crusade of death.

As Willard and his crew travel down the Nung River, we the viewer get to see areas of Vietnam and Cambodia as both breathtakingly beautiful and downright savage. The landscape of the film is arguably its most vivid aspect, with everything from the wet outset of the jungle to the ominous haze of fog captured through expert cinematography and camera work. This is just one example of how the film helps us understand the dual nature of war, and war movies in general - that even though it seems like an atrocious experience to go through, to the point of potentially committing atrocious acts yourself, we always hope the law enforcer (or the U.S. soldier) will win over the foreign enemy.

I really loved this movie. I think it's a classic and it's a perfect love story. They only knew each other for a short time but Jack showed he would die for her. It's the sweetest love/tragedy story i've ever seen.

The movie Taken is about a man whos daughter is going to Europe with some friends. Her father is an ex cop or goverment agent or something along those lines and is smart and gives her a different phone from her own for when she is overseas to keep in touch with him. Once she gets there she is picked up at the airport by a man, everything seems well until he brings her back to where she will be staying. She calls her dad and tells him that she has landed at that she has made it to where she will be staying. He asks her for details and when she tells her he find it suspecious, while they are still on the phone two or three masked men come in and grab someone she is with, her dad instructs her to stay calm, not to make noise and get into the bathroom. She hears the man approaching and leaves the bathroom under her dad's instruction and crawls under a bed. A few moments later she is taken.

And how you didnt know who the person on the phone was but yet she new everything about their surroundings and what was going to happen next . I also liked how the end just flowed together and everything ended up fitting in place.

These two cops are trying to figure out who these four men are and how are they doing these big steals with perfect timing, the right equipment, and the perfect plan. The men aren't caught only two survive in the end and they keep on moving.

I enjoyed the movie because through out the whole thing like you had to keep guessing who did what and what's going to happen next basically it was a movie that has you on the edge of your seat. Everything about the movie felt so real especially like during the part when they were doing money steals. I think that the director of the movie picked excellent actors to play the roles in this movie. Like everyone's personality went with their character, they looked as if they were comfortable with their parts.

Once he gets home his apartment is on fire so he has nowhere to go. The only number he has is this girls number that he had met through out his boring life, but doesn't go forward with the call. Later on he meets the soap salesmen at the bar. They get the talking and they decide to bulid a global organization to vent male aggression (fight club).

I thought this was a real good movie but it took me awhile to understand it, like i had to end up watching it again or just certain parts. I thought that they did a good job and making the viewer very confused but than sort of obvious towards the end. This movie did have me guessing what was gonna happen next and also questioning it like "oh i don't get that" but it all worked out in the end. And i would watch this movie again.

By him doing that, that leads the cop to know that he was with the group of guys that did it. In the end they are all celebrating and having fun until Ghost disappers and the russians show up and shoot the place up. They kill A.J. and the rest of them get away. While that was happening someone was getting away with everything........

My opion of this movie is that they did a good job of first getting alll the info and making the movie as close as they can to the true story. Denzel actually does a good job of acting like frank lucas and the director did a good job of giving us an idea of what the drug lords go threw and how they became a Big boss in the game.

They also did a good job at setting the tone of the movie and making it dark and also even though the movie was long they kept you into it and wanting to watch the movie till the end of it. In this movie, Joel find's a girl named Clementine, who's the love of his love, but then Clementine get's memory erased from her mind, so she no longer remember's Joel or anything about him. Then Joel find's out about this and wants to get the same procedure done. But right in the middle of getting it done after all the bad parts of the relationship are gone, the good parts start coming in and Joel get's reminded of how much those memories mean to him, and kinda learns that not everything's gonna be perfect but it's gonna be good in the end.

In the movie "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" Both Joel and Clementine have there difficult parts, And they don't realize how amazing they're relationship is, Clementine is outgoing and impulsive, and doesn't care what anyone else thinks, but at the same time Joel is the opposite, and isn't very outgoing except when he's with Clementine, and isn't very impulsive and thinks before he does, and he does care what people think. You can definitely tell that they're in love, just by watching the movie. Even though it's not real, you could definitely fall for it.

In this movie it shows that Johnny had a drug problem and how he delt with that, also his issues with his father.

I think that the actor who played Johnny Cash did a great job. It's like he was really him and lived his life style. They did good research for this movie and acted it well.

For instance: I think Citizen Kane has been named one of the most important and best movies of all time because of the way it portrays someone who attains power without knowing properly how to use it. Reportedly William Randolph Hearst tried to stop this film's release; no one knows why for sure but one can guess it probably cut too close to home. It turns a story about a bloated old rich white guy into something I think everyone can relate to, which is that no one really knows how to wield power when they have it. This corruption can lead to hurting those you love because your ego becomes so huge. Kane unfortunately didn't realize this until it was too late and all he had left at the end was his memory of the sled "Rosebud", an object from the childhood he can never go back to and start all over again from.

One day while she is just sitting at home a random man climbs all the way up the tower because he is being chased cause he is known as a robber. Rapunzel ties him up with her hair and demands him to take her to town for her birthday and on their trip they run into multiple situtations and start to fall in love with one another.

What makes their romance realistic is when they are both sitting in the boat watching the laterns in the sky, they tend to make eye contact and have that long, smiling stare with eachother. Also they had their ups and downs threw out the movie just like a real couple would.

Then the next morning Allie's mom decide its time to move out to the city. As she find out she runs to go find Noah to confess her feelings but once she reach the coal mine he's out working, So she runs out of time her mom drags her out of that place. Then Noah comes back finding out she left for the cities. He tried to reach her for a year straight, writing her everyday his thoughts, and theories, but no reply. Sadly, he didn't know that Allie's mom is the one that recieved and hid all the letters, keeping Allie away from Noah and introducing her to someone new.

What makes this romance so real is that even though they lost contact of each other, they still somehow and someway find a way to connect to each other until finally they get to be with each other.

Later on they end up going to a bowling alley and they makeout and have a really good time and notice that they are better together then the brother and her are. The family walks in and all of them see them kissing under all the disco lights. Then the brother goes off and gets the girl that Dan meet a couple times and finds out he likes her more.

I think that the romance in this film worked out so well because Dan is an only father and a really nice guy. His brother is sort of the jerk and still wants to go have all of his fun out there in the world. In the end they work out because they are so cute together they meet in a really wierd way and he is just so goofy after that towards her.

I feel like what made it so real was because anyone can actually fall in love in such a short time. And that people on average day has to worry about there husband or wife going back to fight for the country. During that time it's hard to keep a relationship going just be writing letters. So it's hard to keep the love strong.

Eugene's ridiculous sense of logic sets him back at first, but as Zia learns more about him he realizes that he has a wisdom all his own.

It all started when Al moved to Miami to a place called Freedom Town when he was released from prison. He started selling drugs right away, killing anyone that stepped in his way. He wanted to have his own empire in Miami.

Another movie which involves Al Pacino committing murders similar to Scarface is Righteous Kill. He plays a cop out of control killing people who commit other bad crimes and who gets away with it, unlike Scarface where he hated police. In this movie he plays a cop alongside Robert De Nero, who everyone thought who was doing the brutal killings.

In this movie Al was playing another person someone who he is not, so it would be an alienation effect style of acting. He was playing a poor Cuban who blew up when he got into the drug game. I loved the movie. Al played the best role in this movie than any other movie I have seen him in. He was much younger and seemed so eager to be in this movie.

I would recommend people go see this movie because it's a classic, not something you can watch with the kids but a movie you can just sit back and enjoy. I don't think anyone could ever come close to making another movie like this and Al could never out act himself in another movie.

Serial Mom (1994)

Serial Mom is a movie about a deadly female. The events kick off with this normal church family who looks like they can do no wrong but the mom is a psycho. She kills people because they don't do things the way she thinks they should be done. For instance, she killed this teenage boy because he didn't wear his seat belt while he was driving and because he dumped her daughter.

Usually the femme fatale isn't a main character, like in the old film noir movies, but she is the protagonist in this one. The reason why this works so well is because no one would suspect that the nice mom next door would be a murderer, so it ends up being both suspenseful and funny, because you'd never expect it. She tricks people into thinking she's something she's not.

I would recommend this movie to someone who like gory and twisted movies. I would also suggest you see it if you like movies that both dark and funny, two things that typically don't go together, but work here. Also, if you just like strange movies that you really didn't think could exist, see Serial Mom.

As Jake goes through training to become a policeman, he slowly realizes that Alonzo isn't quite the guy he should be.

In another Denzel Washington movie, Man on Fire, he plays Creasy, a body guard for a little girl named Pita who was kidnapped. The kidnapper wants his brother that Creasy had kidnapped in exchange for the little girl's life, but the kidnapper wants Creasy's life, so he agrees. In Training Day he plays the bad guy and in Man on Fire he plays the good guy, showing that he can do both.

Training Day is similar to many film noirs because it has a bad cop as the main character. I like these movies because most cops are good guys and want to help you. But in these movies they are doing illegal activity just like other people do, which shows that you can't always expect good guys to be good.

This movie is about a book writer that is framed for murders that are happening just like in her novels. Detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) falls in love with the book writer (Sharon Stone), and he is charged with the murder of a former rock star. As the police try to figure out who the real killer is, the tension between Curran and the author builds.

Basically this film is about a femme fatale: how a female in the book is (probably) killing people and framing it on someone else. It's crazy because why would she kill people like she does in her books when that would so obviously lead the police right to her? The character's psychologically messed up and you want to find out what she'll do next.

I think this movie is a good movie because the plot has a good twist to it and a lot of movies really don't have that like this movie does. My opinion is I think you should watch it because the characters make it seem almost too real, like it could happen in real life. Many parts are suspenseful and get you worried about Nick, the main character, throughout.

*Final Thoughts- I would recommend this movie definitely i liked the plot of this movie because you wouldn't expect a

Shia Labeouf is also in a movie called Disturbia. This film is related because in both movies Shia is in legal trouble but saves the day when he figures out that something is wrong.

Holes compares to the Maltese Falcon because the movies are both very decitful. Stanley gets framed for stealing some shoes and has to go to a work camp. The dudes in Maltese Falcon are decived because they get the wrong falcon...nooooo.

I would not recommend Maltese Falcon unless your old and want flasbacks of how dull and boring your life used be. If you like an absolutly pointless plot then go for this movie. Holes is a good movie for younger people. Theres no profanity but keeps your interest.

Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity is about a demean that hunts the home owner wife. Very deem lighting thought out most of the movie. Its nerve racking and thrilling.

I think this has some similarity in lighting since to Maltese Falcon. Not so much the story line. It must have took a lot of time and effort to pull off the senses in Paranormal Activity.

Paranormal Activity for me was a pretty good movie. It kept me on my toes, waiting to see what happens next. PA had a high growth rate in the first week. It was a good movie to bring your date to.

Maltese Falcon was a classic, kind of hard to tie it to another movie. But if I had to it would have to be a 007 movie. Just because they are both agents well at least somewhat.

The Movie "Taken" directed by Pierre Morel was about Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) a hired bodyguard who's daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) get kidnapped while spending the summer in Paris. He goes to Paris to find his daughter and does any and everything to find her.

Liam Neeson played in many different roles he doesn't really pay the same type of roles in his movies one of them was a small role in "Batman Begins" he played a role as Batmans trainer who turns out to be evil.

This movie was like the Maltese Falcon. The detective was the main character.

This movie had ever thing from good acting to great camera shots. I think this is one of Liam Neeson's best movies. They did a great job making it realistic but dramatic. I would recommend this movie to people that like action movie like "Lethal weapon" or "The transporter".

The differance between Training Day and Brooklyns Finest is that the main cast in brooklyns finest is all about the money everyone wants money. from good cops to drug dealing bad guys.

In Training Day only one character is after the money.which is Denzel Washington.

I liked Training Day because it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time it was action packed and Denzel Washington played a role i've never seen him play before.

I would reccomend everyone old enough to go see this movie. because its r-rated due to the guns and drugs and some nudity in this movie.

Here's my 4-paragraph review of The Maltese Falcon as an example:

Humphrey Bogart stars as detective Sam Spade in the classic film noir The Maltese Falcon, a story about a mysterious missing statue, but also more so about deceit and betrayal. The movie kicks off when the attractive Ruth Wonderly, played by Mary Astor, arrives at Spade's office asking him and his partner Miles to find her missing sister, who she thinks has run off with a creep called Thursby. But of course this damsel in distress can't be telling the whole truth!

Bogart is probably better known for his infamous role as Rick Blaine in the classic romance Casablanca, but his experience as a sly detective in movies didn't end with The Maltese Falcon. He famously played another hard-nosed investigator in the unforgettable noir The Big Sleep in 1946. Clearly, the man has a talent for playing a good guy with a dark side.

The Maltese Falcon is one of the best film noirs of all time, if not the best, largely because of its shadow-enhanced lighting style that ended up populating many pulpy crime thrillers for years to come. By often using only a key light, and no fill light, the black and white cinematography is radiant and spooky, showing how easy it is to set a mood with a couple simple filmmaking tricks.

So obviously I would recommend this movie, but to who? Well you need to like mysteries and plot twists, because this movie's got plenty, but also I really do think anyone who can appreciate the art of photography would like Falcon. It really has a lot of impressive camera shots in addition to a suspenseful story!

She's out of my league is a comedy about an average Joe that meets a perfect women. The women is the hottest thing he have ever seen and actually got with but his lack of confidence and his friends and family are slowly picking away at the relationship.

The Graduate doesn't have much in commen besides the women are both out of their league but I like the compliance because they both are comedy's and relate in ways you could only understand if you see the movie "She's out of my league"

She was engaged and happy but you could tell they were still in love. They fell inlove and died happily ever after. :-)

After recovering for the incident Erica decides to take the law in her own hands when the criminals didn't get caught and seeks revenge.

Jodie Foster also stars in Freaky Friday(1976), The Accused(1988), and The Silence of the Lambs(1991) along with many other popular movies.

I enjoyed this film, it had several suspenseful parts where it left you think what will happen next. It also had a greater meaning behind it as love for her dead boyfriend led her to her revenge.

I would recomend this movie to other because of the interesting story and the well done acting.

The inciting incident was when he main charater (Beanie) is broke and wants the American dream he see's no other way to find it but to take it. He takes it by getting a connection to a big time drug dealer to put him in the game of drugs and getting a loyal crew to work for him so that he could move up and if you don't want to be down with him then you have lay down meaning they are going to kill you.

Beanie played in the sequence of State Property 2.The movie is more about the struggles of the drug game and how everything is on the line.

I liked the movie just because of the method acting. the acting was so natrual and realistic of things that do go down or could go down in the lower income housing neighborhoods. Also I liked the way the inciting incident started off the movie where it had you wanting to know more about the movie and the charaters.

The God Father

The movie begins with the Don ( Vito Corleone ) at his daughters wedding. His son just came back from the war but doesn't want anything to do with the family business. Micheal his son thinks nothing goods comes from the mob. Don lives life like its still the old days, things are changing. A new family is coming up, The Coreone Family. The Coreone don't have a problem with the new way things are working. They are heavy in drug crafting. The Dons fading old world values and the new way things are working will demand a terrible price.
The main charters are Marlon Brando ( Don ) Al Pacio ( Micheal ) James Caan ( Sonny ) and John Marley ( Jack ).
The Don for me had the most alienation effect only because he alwas had a really calm veiw on everything. Never really changed up his view about anything, very strong hearted.
The Godfather and Goodfellas have loads in common. One they both have respect for people in the family and live by there values. Another is they are both all for the money.

Casino

Two bestfriend played by Robert De Nero & Joe Pesci are involved in the casino buisness. They both want to have the money & the power Joe Pesci wants to steal it while Robert De Nero wants to earn it. While they both are trying to go their seperate ways Robert's wife starts to have an affair with Joe Pesci causing more drama.

Robert De Nero & Joe Pesci also star in the movie GoodFellas where both play a role just like the ones in Casino. They both want money & the power, Joe is in the mafia, & in the end of Casino Joe ends up getting killed just like GoodFellas.

Casino is a great movie in my opinion. It has a good plot, alot of crime action, suspense, and a little romance. Another reason why it's so good is because the actors in that movie are method actors, except for Robert's wife. By being method actors it made the movie better. Because those actors could be everyday people that you see, & that made it realistic and down to earth.

If you liked GoodFellas or any crime drama movies i would recommend Casino, because it's a great movie it has alot of action, alot of drama, & it keeps you thinking.

Goodfellas

I thought this movie was a very good film. The acting was well done all around athough at times alienating a bit much. The plot was very interesting and there was plenty of action. I never was bored with this movie and i would like to see more films of this quality.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes crime oriented action films. It includeds a little bit of everything from family problems to drug problems to problems with hiding dead bodies... and sometimes trying to not end up like the other guy.

Four Brothers

*plot tease- the plot tease in Four Brothers was the boys mother gets killed by a gangster and they all have to come together to bury their mother after a few years of being apart and them doing their own things. They go on a hunt to find their mothers killer and kill everyone who was involved in her murder.

*cast and crew backtrack- Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese Gibson stared in many other crime dramas like Tyrese Gibson in Waist deep where his son gets kidnapped and he goes lookin for him. Lovely bones (Mark Wahlberg) was about Marks characters daughter get murdered and he is investigating her murder and trying to find her killer.

*opinion focus- Mark Wahlberg was a antihero in Four Brothers because he did some bad things but he was also doing something good like getting revenge for his mother. He also was using the alienation effect in alot of the scenes. Garrett Hedlund's character was a very method actor.

The main character of the movie is Al Pacino as Michael, Don Vito Corleone's son. The secondary characters of this film that are more of major characters are Don Vito Corleone played by Marlon Brando, and Santino Corleone played by James Cann. There are many more actors and actresses in the movie but there are just to many to list. The inciting incident of the movie is when the Godfather turns down another dons offering to move drugs into the city for a cut of the money, the other don orders hit men to take him out and he barely survives which causes his son Michael, who wanted to be on the straight and narrow path, to retaliate for his family.

A supporting actress in this film is Kay Adams Corleone played by Diane Keaton (she marries Michael Corleone), screenwriters are Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola. The director of the film is Francis Ford Coppola. This differed for him from Godfather part 2 which he helped produce.

For one of the Characters, Don Vito Corleone, he seemed like he was doing a lot of method acting in the film. He makes you believe he really is the head of the family and makes you think that you would not want to be on his bad side. but he does get a little over the edge in the beginning and different parts of the movie.

I would recommend seeing this movie, its a classic and everyones gotta see the Godfather eventually. It definately reminds me of the movie Goodfellas, its practically about the same thing just from a made mans perspective instead of just a worker in the mafia's point of view. I was reminded of the Godfather after watching the film Goodfellas because there was just so much violence in both of the movies its practically what its about.
