The movie begins with the Don ( Vito Corleone ) at his daughters wedding. His son just came back from the war but doesn't want anything to do with the family business. Micheal his son thinks nothing goods comes from the mob. Don lives life like its still the old days, things are changing. A new family is coming up, The Coreone Family. The Coreone don't have a problem with the new way things are working. They are heavy in drug crafting. The Dons fading old world values and the new way things are working will demand a terrible price.The main charters are Marlon Brando ( Don ) Al Pacio ( Micheal ) James Caan ( Sonny ) and John Marley ( Jack ).
The Don for me had the most alienation effect only because he alwas had a really calm veiw on everything. Never really changed up his view about anything, very strong hearted.
The Godfather and Goodfellas have loads in common. One they both have respect for people in the family and live by there values. Another is they are both all for the money.
