Sadly, he didn't know that Allie's mom is the one that recieved and hid all the letters, keeping Allie away from Noah and introducing her to someone new.

What makes this romance so real is that even though they lost contact of each other, they still somehow and someway find a way to connect to each other until finally they get to be with each other.

This movie is about this one boss who makes her assistance , who knows her very well marry her so she can keep her visa status in the U.S. so they don't send her back to canada. Dan In Real Life

Dan In Real Life (2007)
Director : Peter Hedges
Writer : Peter Hedges & Pierce Gardner
Stars : Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche, and Dane Cook

In the movie Dan In Real Life it is about a guy and a girl who meet but are anonomous to eachother that it is his brothers girlfriend. Later on in the movie he finds out that his brother is dating her and they want to get married. Dan and his brothers girl hit it off really good when they meet eachother but then she is in a rush to go ( to his house where he is going to) and leaves him there. Later on they end up going to a bowling alley and they makeout and have a really good time and notice that they are better together then the brother and her are. The family walks in and all of them see them kissing under all the disco lights. Then the brother goes off and gets the girl that Dan meet a couple times and finds out he likes her more.

I think that the romance in this film worked out so well because Dan is an only father and a really nice guy. His brother is sort of the jerk and still wants to go have all of his fun out there in the world. In the end they work out because they are so cute together they meet in a really wierd way and he is just so goofy after that towards her.

Dear John

Release Date: February 5 , 2010
Director: Lasse Hallstrom
Writer's:Jamie Linden (Screenplay), Nicholas Spark (novel)
Stars: Channing Tatum , Amanda Seyfried and Richard Jenkins

In the movie Dear John. John was in the army and he came home for awhile and he met a girl name Savahnna they really didnt know each other. But he decieced to ask her they spent some time together. After two weeks they started dating. Things got hard for John because he fell in love with savahanna but he had to go back to the army. so they wrote each other to keep things going but it started to fall apart.

I feel like what made it so real was because anyone can actually fall in love in such a short time. And that people on average day has to worry about there husband or wife going back to fight for the country. During that time it's hard to keep a relationship going just be writing letters. So it's hard to keep the love strong.

release date: september 17th 2010
director: Will Gluck
screenwriter: Bert v. Royal
starring: Emma Stone, Aly Michalka, Amanda Bynes

easy a is a story of a girl who is in high school an feels invisible but all that quickly changes when a jesus loving freak overhears her telling her friend a lie about loosing her virginity and i gets all over the school then she makes an agreement with a gay guy to pretend to publically have sex with him so he wont get harrassed anymore. what made the feeling between the characters real was the fact that their relationship came together in the midst of all the drama that was goin on at the time.however the thing that made the relationship realistic was the fact that he was there throughout the story but reframed from participating in the drama and the judgement of her the whole time and the fact that they grew up together.

Scott Pilgrim vs the world

Scott Pilgrim vs the world
Edgar Wright
Micheal Bacall
Micheal Cera Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Kieran Culkin
Scott Pilgrim Sees a girl in a comic book store that he quickly fell for but theirs a catch and a girl he needs to lose. The catch is that he has to fight all of her exes to become Her boyfriend and to lose the girl theirs no way.
To me the way its realistic is because us Americans when we see a girl from a different country its like i want that and some people go through hoops for so he realizes that its worth fighting through all of those exes.

Wristcutters: A Love Story

Directed and Written by: Goran Dukic (Based on Kneller's Happy Campers by Etgar Keret)

Dead man Zia goes on a wild goose chase for his recently deceased ex-girlfriend, Desiree. With his dirty mouthed, loud-spoken friends Eugene and Mikal, he travels all over the suicide-afterlife in search of the reason he's there in the first place. The trio comes across a camp run by Kneller, a scruffy landlord who takes in anyone who needs a home. During their stay, Zia learns from his surprisingly intellectual new friends that there were parts of life he'd never considered when he left.

The relationship between Zia and Eugene is very much like one in the real world; not agreeing on as much as they have in common, they grow on each other and form a bond similar to brotherhood. Eugene's ridiculous sense of logic sets him back at first, but as Zia learns more about him he realizes that he has a wisdom all his own.

Romance & Relationships in the Movies

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
Directed by: Michel Gondry
Written by: Charlie Kaufman
Starring: Jim Carrey & Kate Winslet
Genre: Romance

Your assignment: Blog about a movie you have seen where the romance OR relationship between two characters was realistic. See blogging requirements below.

When writing a blog post, include a picture and the info (which you can get from imdb.com) you see above at the top. Then, you are required to 1) write a brief introductory paragraph describing the plot of the movie. Like this: Joel is still very much in love with his ex-girlfriend Clementine, but when he finds out she's had all memory of him erased from her brain by a strange medical service, he wants to do the same back. When he has the procedure done, however, he finds that he doesn't want to lose the memory of the love of his life.

In a brief second paragraph, describe 2) what made the romance and/or relationship between characters realistic. Like this: Even though Eternal Sunshine... has a weird sci-fi premise, where we live in a world where you can erase all memories of a specific person, the relationship between Joel and Clementine is definitely genuine. Director Michel Gondry shows us both glimpses of when they fight (Joel hates when Clementine "gets drunk and stupid" at dinner) and when they play lovey dovey games together (one pretends to smother the other in bed with a pillow only to surprise and tickle shortly after). These kinds of details are vital in expressing the wide spectrum of emotions someone feels when they're truly in love.
