unfaithful

Unfaithful was a fimilar movie because it had a triangle which happens often. It told the story of a married women who fell in love with a stranger she met on the street. They met up often and she would lie to her husband to go see this new mystery man. This movie was also unique because the husband so found out and his jealous rage pushed him to kill the man that his wife was cheating on him with.

FRANKESTEIN AND LOVE ROMANCE...

Frankenstein it is one of the best movies I can say. What really impress me was that a living thing actually had feelings towards a female. Both movies had a big connection because Frankenstein was ugly and he was not a human being. Eternal sunshine was a totally different movie they both tried and erase their memories but they didnt success. Human beings have their feelings, something that you never cant erase even though time goes by.

Sexpot

Enternal sunshine reminded me of the movie sexpot. It reminded me of this movie because of the messed up ways people fall in love. In both movies a series of unique and weird events occur. They both involve love a boy and a girl meeting having a crazy unpredictable adventure but still end up in love and together.

Romeo and Juliet (1996)

Romeo and Juliet reminded me of Enternal Sunshine Because of the hate between Joel and Clementine had like the Capulets and Montague had for each other. But their hate for each like the family hated each other they still loved each other and went through it together.

titanic

it told a romance story different by the parents, in eternal sunshine the plot was more of two people trying to be together but wasnt seperated by parents like titanic was. Titanic was two people that had complete different lifes who met up on a ship eventually there parents didnt except the guy she wanted to be with because he wasnt wealthy but instead they got together on the down low and hid it from there loved ones.

James Cameron is the directer for Titanic his movie plot was different by location, the love triangle was sorta different both acters had to fight for love, based on a true story of the ship Titanic

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

While watching Mr and Mrs. Smith it reminded me of Enternal Sunshine and the way they acted towards each other like the way they fall in love not knowing that they are very diffrent. Like as they got married they started moving futher from each other because of there jobs. But in this case they they loved each other very much, but wanted to kill each other not seeing that both of there companies wanted them both dead. In Eternal Sunshine they feel in love , but everything didn't go so well which cause them to want to eras each other out of there mind and heart. But weither they knew it or not they still love each other.

Beetle Juice

Enternal sunshine's Production reminded me of Tim Burtons 1988 film Beetle juice. The neighborhood settings were dark but not scary. He made you feel like you were somewhere that you have never been but in a realistic way. Both were different looking films that made you pay attention to the setting because you never knew what was going to pop up or happen. The producer and screen writers for both movies had the same type of idea's for semi dark settings.

the note book

Eternal Sunshine reminds me of the notebook because they break up. The man drools on the girl and cry because she left. he never knew why she left. Then later on in the movie she comes back and and they fall in love again.

Director: Nick Cassavetes

romeo and juiet

The enternal sun shine reminded me of the move romeo and juliet because of the way they loved each other in eturnal sun shine they loved each other then they were gettin eacch other erased an during the memories they found how much they loved each other. In romeo and juilet they love each other and thier famileys didnt want them to be together. So to me when the famileys were trying to erase romeo and juiet from each others mind so they dont love them and move on.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Okay, you've heard me rave about Eternal Sunshine... and now you've seen it. What film studies connections can you make? In your first blog post, tell me about a movie that Eternal Sunshine... reminded you of and how. Include a picture and make sure you put the name of the film (and year) as your post's title. In your paragraph, make a connection to either one of the week's vocab words and/or the genre of film we're focusing on: director, screenwriter, producer, production designer, or romance. Read the paragraph below for an example reaction from yours truly.

Wow. Michel Gondry, the director of
Eternal Sunshine..., really knocked me out of my seat. His vision of the main character Joel's dreamworld was wild and fun, but also realistic how many of his memories were connected and he'd often jump from one to the next. In fact, the only other romance movie I can think of with such a strange yet enjoyable vibe to it is Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands, which I just watched again recently. If you haven't seen it, check it out, because it literally is about a guy with scissors with hands, played by Johnny Depp, who falls in love with a girl. The world that Burton creates in that movie is just as crazy and unique as Gondry's in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but it's also a little darker, and fits a lot more into the fantasy genre. Both are great examples of one-of-a-kind love stories though!
