The plot about the is true love. Where Adam Sandler falls in love with Drew barrymore who works at a waffle shop in a little tropical island with her friends and family all working their to. So Adam takes this girl on a date. 50 first dates to be correct, and her dad and her brother try so hard to stop it but they cant. So in the end he either finds true love and gets the girl or doesnt.The possibility for their romance was that Sandler kept trying and didnt give up and he then finally showed her dad and brother that he was the one for her. These two people are trying to show that true love is anywhere if you just work for it. It was a great movie and a good story plot.
